We're hosting our FIRST ANNUAL WARMING THE HANDS OF HOMELESS DRIVE.
We will be collecting new and gently worn gloves and mittens during the month of December to be distributed Christmas morning to the less fortunate.
Donated items can be dropped off at Grandma’s Cheesecake Sandwiches Bake Shop located at 12-40 Clintonville Street, Whitestone, Queens during regular business hours ~ Monday – Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sundays 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
A free plain cheesecake sandwich will be given to each individual making a donation. *Limit one per person for the duration of the drive.
We ask everyone to come out and support.
Today was a day to give thanks for all the things we have, and to remember those of us who are less fortunate by donating over the holidays. We did that on this Thanksgiving Day with cake. A special something extra to make the women living in the new homeless shelter on 20th Avenue and 127th Street in College Point feel more human because that's what they are, and we should understand that there are times when people are down on their luck, and just need a helping hand to get back on their feet. No one grows up thinking...oh, I want to be homeless, it just happens, sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control. So next time you see...
Well, we're going to be available in the freezer section of all 14 Fairways after Thanksgiving. Plain, Chocolate Chip, and Milk Chocolate in our new packaging.
It's been a lot of hard work, and I promise I will keep at it, until we're available at a store near you.
My grandmother would be so happy if she was here to see her recipe for plain cheesecake evolve into 20+ flavors of cheesecake sandwiches for all to enjoy.
This is my way of honoring her memory, and sharing her delicious dessert with you all.

It's been an exciting journey, and we are now open at our first retail location in Whitestone, Queens at 12-40 Clintonville Street as a fitting tribute to my late grandmother Raphaella, who settled into the community with my late grandfather, John back in 1955. What better place to select than the very neighborhood where my grandmother baked her original plain cheesecakes from her secret family recipe. A recipe that allowed me to take this fabulous little dessert to a whole new level. Right now, I am focusing on 18 flavors, yes I said 18 tasty morsels that leave you wanting more. While my main focus is cheesecake sandwiches, I will also be whipping up some other grab and go desserts...
We're going on a summer hiatus to set up our new kitchen and retail store in Whitestone, Queens. We'll keep you posted on our progress, and should be up and running by September with all new flavors and surprises. Stay-tuned for our Grand Opening Party...you're all invited!
