Getting an order for 2000 Grandma’s Cheesecake Sandwiches in the first few weeks of being in business from Resorts World Catskills has truly been amazing, not to mention stressful, but that is expected when you launch a new start-up. The idea had been on my mind for some time - I'd dabbled with it back in the early 90s, but never really went beyond selling cheesecakes to a few restaurants back then because I was baking them in my mother's kitchen one by one. Throughout the time beyond, I did what most would call filler jobs, things that paid the bills, while not really feeling satisfied with any of them, and always believing I could find something better with less hassle.
